About Bottleneck Calculator

Every PC builder knows the feeling—you’ve picked your parts, done your research, and you’re ready to build. Then doubt creeps in: “Will this CPU actually keep up with my GPU? Am I about to waste money on the wrong combination?”

About Bottleneck Calculator

That’s exactly the problem Bottleneck Calculator was built to solve. I created this free platform to help gamers, content creators, streamers, and everyday PC users make confident hardware decisions with clear, practical, and easy-to-understand results.

How I Am

Bottleneck Calculator is an independent  educational platform built and maintained by Faiza Ishfaq — for gamers, PC builders, content creators, and streamers who want real answers about their hardware — not marketing fluff.

My goal is to make PC hardware easier to understand through simple tools and practical guides that anyone can use with confidence. This platform combines a free, easy-to-use bottleneck calculator with practical guides that explain CPU and GPU compatibility, system balance, and real-world PC performance — in plain language anyone can understand.

Every tool and piece of content here is built with hands-on research into PC hardware and real-world performance — created by someone who actually cares about getting it right.

Whether you’re building your first PC, upgrading existing components, or simply trying to get more out of what you already have —I’m here to help you build a balanced PC with confidence and stop second-guessing every hardware decision.

Why I Created Bottleneck Calculator

Bottleneck Calculator didn’t start as a business — it started with a simple frustration.

Hi, I’m Faiza Ishfaq — the person behind Bottleneck Calculator. I started this project after struggling to find clear and trustworthy answers about CPU and GPU compatibility while researching PC hardware. Every forum gave a different answer. Every guide was either too technical or too vague. I just wanted one clear, honest tool that gave me a straight answer — and I couldn’t find one.

That’s why I decided to build it myself.

What began as a small personal project slowly grew into a full platform. I combined everything I was learning — about PC hardware, real-world performance, and plain-language writing — to create something I genuinely wished had existed when I started.

Today, Bottleneck Calculator helps gamers, content creators, streamers, and first-time PC builders make more confident hardware decisions with clear, practical insights.

What Makes This Platform Different

There are plenty of bottleneck calculators out there. Here’s why people keep coming back to this one.

More Than Just a Bottleneck Percentage

Most bottleneck calculators give you a percentage and leave you guessing. I go a step further by explaining what your results mean, why the imbalance exists, and what you can do to improve your PC’s performance.

 Built for Real-World Use Cases

  • Covers gaming, video editing, streaming, and everyday productivity
  • Analyzes performance across 1080p, 1440p, and 4K resolutions
  • Considers your specific use case — not just generic benchmarks
  • Gives targeted upgrade suggestions based on your actual setup

Plain Language — Always

No confusing technical terms just clear, practical explanations that help you make better hardware decisions. I write like I’m explaining it to a friend not writing a textbook.

Always Up To Date

Hardware moves fast. I  regularly update the hardware database with the latest CPUs and GPUs so you always get accurate, relevant results not outdated estimates.

100% Free — No Strings Attached

No sign-up. No paywalls. No hidden costs. Because good tools should be accessible to everyone.

My Commitment

I believe good information should be free and clear no paywalls, no confusing technical walls, just straight answers.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

Accuracy — every tool and guide is built on real benchmark data and reviewed for correctness

Transparency — I explain how the tool works and what factors influence your results

Neutrality — no brand influence, no sponsored recommendations, just honest insights

Accessibility — complex hardware topics explained in plain language for all experience levels

Continuous Improvement — I regularly update content as new hardware releases and your needs evolve

Your feedback means everything. If something can be better tell me. You help shape everything I build.
